Brief Description	Storm Surge Warning
Detailed Description	Storm surge is expected Monday morning until Monday evening at Herschel Island. The highest water levels are expected to reach 20 cm above highest astronomical tide early in the afternoon on Monday and will cause moderate flooding. These conditions will cause damage to infrastructure near the coast, including boats beached or anchored along the shoreline. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada. To report severe weather, send an email to NTstorm@ec.gc.gc or post on X using #NTstorm. ### These warnings are issued when water levels pose a flooding threat to coastal areas.
