Brief Description Severe Thunderstorm Warning
Detailed Description At 4:57 p.m. PDT (4:57 p.m. MST), Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing very strong wind gusts, up to nickel size hail and heavy rain. A severe thunderstorm north of Slim Lake is approaching the Yellowhead Highway and is moving northeastward at 20 km/h. ### Weather in the mountains can change suddenly resulting in hazardous driving conditions. Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain. Road conditions are available at https://www.drivebc.ca/.
