| Detailed Description | Thunderstorms with heavy rain possible overnight through to Saturday morning. What: Rainfall amounts in excess of 40 mm. Thunderstorms with strong wind gusts and hail. When: Overnight through to Saturday morning. Additional information: Multiple rounds of thunderstorms are expected to track over northwestern Ontario beginning overnight and continuing through Friday. These thunderstorms are expected to bring heavy downpours with total local amounts well over 40 mm possible by the time thunderstorms track east of the area on Saturday. These thunderstorms may also be accompanied by strong winds and hail. Severe Thunderstorm Watches and Warnings may be issued as the event draws closer. Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible. For information concerning flooding, please consult your local Conservation Authority or Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources office.
