Brief Description Severe Thunderstorm Watch
Detailed Description Conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts and large hail. Potential hazards include: - Wind gusts to 90 km/h or higher. - Up to ping-pong ball-sized hail. Locations: Portions of southwestern Saskatchewan. Time span: Early this afternoon until this evening. Remarks: Thunderstorms, some of which may be severe, are expected to develop over the region early this afternoon and will track east throughout the afternoon. The threat for severe weather is expected to diminish this evening. ### Severe thunderstorm watches are issued when conditions are favourable for the development of thunderstorms capable of producing damaging hail, wind or rain. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
