Brief Description Rainfall Warning
Detailed Description Rain, at times heavy, is expected. A low pressure system continues to move across southern Saskatchewan Friday night. Heavy, persistent rainfall will continue on the northern side of this system as it pivots through central Saskatchewan tonight and moves into Manitoba on Saturday. Total rainfall amounts of 50 to 75 mm are expected by the time the rain ends Sunday morning with locally higher amounts, in excess of 100 mm, possible where thunderstorms also occur. ### Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible. Heavy rainfall in combination with other weather factors, such as hail, wind and lightning will make outdoor activities unsafe. Rainfall warnings are issued when significant rainfall is expected. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
