| Detailed Description | The National Weather Service in Paducah KY has issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Illinois. Skillet Fork River at Wayne City .Four to six inches of rain has fallen across the Skillet Fork River basin, which will lead to minor flood development. The river is forecast to crest near 16.1 feet Sunday morning. For the Skillet Fork River. including Wayne City. Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT. Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Skillet Fork River at Wayne City. * WHEN. From late tonight to early Monday morning. * IMPACTS. At 15.0 feet, Minor flooding occurs affecting mainly bottomland and surrounding low lying areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 1:00 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 6.1 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise above flood stage late tonight to a crest of 16.2 feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage late tomorrow evening. - Flood stage is 15.0 feet. |
