Brief Description Severe Thunderstorm Watch
Detailed Description Conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain. Hazards: Wind gusts up to 90 km/h. Hail 2 to 4 cm in diameter. Locally heavy rainfall. Timing: This morning, then again later this afternoon and evening. Discussion: Thunderstorms tracking northeastward across northern Minnesota may reach portions of the area early this morning. Another round of thunderstorms are then possible later this afternoon and evening. ### Local utility outages are possible. Severe thunderstorm watches are issued when conditions are favourable for the development of thunderstorms capable of producing damaging hail, wind or rain.
