Brief Description Flood Warning
Detailed Description The National Weather Service in St Louis has issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Missouri. Moreau River near Jefferson City. River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecast precipitation for the next 24 hours. * WHAT. Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Moreau River near Jefferson City. * WHEN. From Monday morning to Wednesday afternoon. * IMPACTS. At 23.5 feet, Near this height, Walnut Acres Road near North Moreau Creek will likely need to be closed. This road is 18.3 river miles upstream of the gage. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 7:30 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 11.1 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise above flood stage tomorrow morning to a crest of 21.8 feet tomorrow evening. It will then fall below flood stage Tuesday morning. - Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
