Brief Description Severe Thunderstorm Warning
Detailed Description At 10:55 p.m. PDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking an area of severe thunderstorms capable of producing very strong wind gusts, up to nickel size hail and heavy rain. The area of severe thunderstorms are located about 30 km southeast of Vanderhoof is moving northeastwards at 20 km/h. The thunderstorms will impact communities along Highway 16 from Sinkut River to Beaverley within the next hour. ### Driving conditions will likely be difficult. Weather in the mountains can change suddenly resulting in hazardous driving conditions. Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain. Road conditions are available at https://www.drivebc.ca/.
