| Detailed Description |
At 12:05 p.m. CDT (1:05 p.m. EDT), Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing very strong wind gusts, up to nickel size hail and heavy rain. This severe thunderstorm is located 28 kilometres east of Ellard Lake, moving southeast at 50 km/h. Hazard: 90 km/h wind gusts and nickel size hail. Locations impacted include: Sachigo Lake, Stull Lake, Ponask Lake, Rorke Lake, Gilleran Lake, Ney Lake, Echoing Lake, Little Sachigo Lake, Ellard Lake, Blackbear Lake and Swan Lake. ### Damage to roofs, fences, soft shelters or trees is likely. Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain. |
