Maximum daytime temperatures: near 30 degrees Celsius, except cooler along parts of the coast. Minimum overnight temperatures: near 16 degrees Celsius. Locations: northern Avalon Peninsula, northeastern and central Newfoundland, and parts of western Newfoundland. Remarks: A very warm air mass over the region will remain for the next several days. Little relief is expected at night with elevated overnight temperatures.
