Brief Description Severe Thunderstorm Watch
Detailed Description Conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts and large hail. Hazards: Wind gusts up to 90 km/h. Up to toonie sized hail. When: This evening. Additional information: Scattered thunderstorms developing ahead of a cold front over Manitoba will move into Ontario this evening. Some of these thunderstorms may reach severe thresholds. ### Local utility outages are possible. Damage to roofs, fences, branches or soft shelters is possible. Severe thunderstorm watches are issued when conditions are favourable for the development of thunderstorms capable of producing damaging hail, wind or rain.
