| Detailed Description |
* WHAT. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE. A portion of southwest Missouri, including the following county, McDonald. * WHEN. Until 300 AM CDT. * IMPACTS. Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 1055 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 2 inches of rain have fallen. - This includes the following low water crossings. Little Sugar Creek at Skaggs Hollow Road, Buffalo Creek at Klondike Road, Mikes Creek at Highway U, Elkhorn Creek at Highway CC, Big Sugar Creek at Buzzard Glory Road, Bentonville Hollow at Highway E and Butler Creek at Kings Highway. Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include. Pineville, Anderson, Noel, Goodman, South West City, Lanagan, Dodge, Cayuga, Powell, Tiff City, Rocky Comfort and Big Sugar Creek State Park. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood |
