Remarks: Smoke from a wildfire near Chance Harbour on the Bonavista Peninsula may lead to reduced air quality in its vicinity and downwind. Westerly winds are expected to push the smoke across the Bonavista Peninsula today before backing to southwesterly again later this afternoon. Smoke conditions may vary locally at any time with slight changes in wind and fire behaviour. People more likely to be impacted by wildfire smoke, including people aged 65 and older, pregnant people, infants and young children, people with an existing illness or chronic health condition, and people who work outdoors, should avoid strenuous activities outdoors and seek medical attention if experiencing symptoms. ### When air pollution levels are high, everyone should limit time outdoors.
