Brief Description Flood Advisory
Detailed Description * WHAT. Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE. A portion of north central Missouri, including the following counties, Chariton, Linn, Livingston and Macon. * WHEN. Until 730 AM CDT. * IMPACTS. Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Overflowing poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 425 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include. Chillicothe, Macon, Brookfield, Marceline, Bevier, Bucklin, Meadville, Laclede, Callao, Linneus, Wheeling, Utica, Chula, New Cambria, Sumner, Rothville, Saint Catherine, Wien and Excello. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
