The Flood Warning is extended for the following river and locations in Indiana. White River at Hazleton and Petersburg. .Minor flooding. following heavy rainfall last week. will continue on the East Fork White River at Rivervale into early Thursday. and on the White River at Elliston and Newberry into Thursday night. and points farther downstream into at least this weekend. * WHAT. Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. White River at Edwardsport. * WHEN. Until late Saturday evening. * IMPACTS. At 22.9 feet, A 25 foot section of Levee Unit 8 failed at this level on March 6 2011. flooding local roads behind the levee. Flooding not nearly as bad as June 2008 levee failure. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 7:00 PM EDT Wednesday /6:00 PM CDT Wednesday/ the stage was 21.8 feet. - Recent Activity. The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 7:00 PM EDT Wednesday /6:00 PM CDT Wednesday/ was 22.3 feet. - Forecast.
