10:52 PM NDT Wednesday 17 April 2024 Special Weather Statement in effect for: Green Bay - White Bay Accumulating snow is expected, with gusty winds. Locations: Grand Falls-Windsor and vicinity; Bay of Exploits; Green Bay - White Bay. Total snowfall: 5 to 10 cm, except 10 to 20 cm over the higher terrain south of Notre Dame Bay. Maximum wind gusts: northerly 70 km/h, except 90 along parts of the coast. Time span: tonight until Thursday evening. Remarks: A few centimetres of snow are expected to accumulate tonight, before easing to drizzle or flurries Thursday morning. A second round of accumulating snow is forecast to occur Thursday afternoon and evening, before precipitation tapers to flurries and drizzle or freezing drizzle.
