Detailed Description |
* WHAT. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE. A portion of central Alabama, including the following county, Cleburne. * WHEN. Until 200 PM CDT. * IMPACTS. Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 949 AM CDT, emergency management reported several roadways remain flooded. Local rivers are beginning to rise due to recent rainfall. Flooding is already occurring. Between 5 and 7 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include. Heflin, Ranburne, Fruithurst, Edwardsville, Abernathy, Lake Cleburne, Trickem, I 20 Welcome Center and Sweetwater Lake. |
