When: Today through to Saturday morning. Additional information: Multiple rounds of thunderstorms are expected to track over northwestern Ontario beginning this morning. These thunderstorms are expected to bring heavy downpours with total local amounts well over 40 mm possible by the time thunderstorms track east of the area on Saturday. These thunderstorms may also be accompanied by strong winds and hail. Severe Thunderstorm Watches and Warnings may be issued as the event draws closer.
