| Detailed Description | An extended period of very warm to hot weather is expected. Time span: continuing through Monday. Maximum daytime temperatures: near 30 degrees Celsius. Minimum overnight temperatures: near 20 degrees Celsius. Remarks: A very warm air mass will persist over the region for the next couple of days. Little relief is expected at night with elevated overnight temperatures. Current guidance indicates conditions will begin moderating early next week. ### Heat warnings are issued when very high temperature or humidity conditions are expected to pose an elevated risk of heat illnesses, such as heat stroke or heat exhaustion.
