A portion of central North Carolina, including the following counties, Cumberland, Edgecombe, Franklin, Halifax, Harnett, Johnston, Nash, Sampson, Wake, Wayne and Wilson. * WHEN. Through late Thursday night. * IMPACTS. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - Slow moving thunderstorms capable of producing torrential rainfall over already saturated soils may result in flooding through Thursday night. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood |
