Conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain. Thunderstorms will continue in central Saskatchewan this evening as a low pressure system develops and travels east. Some of these thunderstorms may be severe. The thunderstorms are expected to persist and travel eastward through Saskatchewan this evening before moving into Manitoba overnight. ### Damage to roofs, fences, branches or soft shelters is possible. Large hail can cause significant damage and injury. Severe thunderstorm watches are issued when conditions are favourable for the development of thunderstorms capable of producing damaging hail, wind or rain.
