FFWMPX The National Weather Service in the Twin Cities has issued a * Flash Flood Warning for. Southeastern Blue Earth County in south central Minnesota. Northern Faribault County in south central Minnesota. Steele County in south central Minnesota. Waseca County in south central Minnesota. * Until 230 AM CDT. * At 928 PM CDT, Broadcast media reported thunderstorms producing heavy rain and ongoing flash flooding in the City of Waseca. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen across south central Minnesota. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring. HAZARD. Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE. Broadcast media reported. IMPACT. Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include. Owatonna, Waseca, Blue Earth, Blooming Prairie, Mapleton, Winnebago, Medford, New Richland, Ellendale, Minnesota Lake, Pemberton, Waldorf, Easton, Delavan, Otisco, Lemond, Clinton Falls, Merton, Moland and Hope. |
