Brief Description Severe Thunderstorm Warning
Detailed Description At 8:00 p.m. MST, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing very strong wind gusts, up to nickel size hail and heavy rain. The thunderstorm is located 40 km/h southwest of Dawson Creek. It is moving southeastward at 30 km/h. It will impact areas of Highway 52 east of Bearhole Lkae Provincial Park within the next hour. ### Heavy rain may cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility. Weather in the mountains can change suddenly resulting in hazardous driving conditions. Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain. Road conditions are available at https://www.drivebc.ca/.
