| Detailed Description | Conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms which may produce tornadoes. Strong winds, large hail and heavy rain are also possible. Hazards: Tornadoes Wind gusts up to 110 km/h Nickel to toonie sized hail Heavy rainfall with rainfall rates exceeding 50 mm per hour Total rainfall amounts could approach 100 mm When: This afternoon into this evening. ### This is a dangerous and potentially life-threatening situation. Tornado watches are issued when atmospheric conditions are favourable for the development of thunderstorms that could produce tornadoes.
