* WHAT. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE. A portion of northeast Georgia, including the following county, Elbert. * WHEN. Until 615 AM EDT. * IMPACTS. Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas, including in urban areas around the city of Elberton. Rapid rises to near bankfull and high flows on small streams can be expected, especially along Wahachee Creek and Falling Creek. These creeks and others may flood low water crossings. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 314 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are likely over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include.
