Portions of east central and northeast New Mexico, including the following areas, in east central New Mexico, Curry County, De Baca County, Guadalupe County, Quay County and Roosevelt County. In northeast New Mexico, Eastern San Miguel County, Harding County and Union County. * WHEN. Until 6 AM MDT Saturday. * IMPACTS. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - Repeated rounds of storms producing locally heavy rainfall, with rates of up to 2 to 3 inches per hour, are expected overnight across parts of east central and northeast NM.
