Marion County in east Tennessee. * Until 1115 AM CDT. * At 707 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Tropical heavy downpours are causing rainfall rates of around 2 inches in one hour. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD. Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE. Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include. Jasper, South Pittsburg, Whitwell, Kimball, Monteagle, Powells Crossroads, Orme, Sequatchie Cave, Foster Falls State Park, Martin Springs, Fiery Gizzard State Park, Chimneys State Park, New Hope, Haletown (guild), Griffith Creek and Lone Oak.
