Brief Description Severe Thunderstorm Warning
Detailed Description At 12:18 a.m. CST, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing very strong wind gusts, up to nickel size hail and heavy rain. Thunderstorm Location: Tullymet No. 216 30 km (28 km) southwest of Burgis Beach Motion: East at 40 km/h Hazards: Wind: very strong (90 - 110 km/h) Hail: toonie to ping pong ball size (3 to 4 cm) Rain: heavy (50 - 75 mm) Locations in the Path: Melville Goodeve Theodore ### Heavy rain may cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility. Large hail may cause significant damage and injury. Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
