| Detailed Description |
* WHAT. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE. Portions of Central and South Central Kansas, including the following counties, in Central Kansas, McPherson and Rice. In South Central Kansas, Reno. * WHEN. Until 1030 AM CDT Wednesday. * IMPACTS. Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 1037 AM CDT, trained weather spotters reported heavy rain in the warned area due to thunderstorms from the previous day. Flooding is ongoing. Between 2 and 5 inches of rain have fallen. - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include. Hutchinson, Mcpherson, Lyons, South Hutchinson, Sterling, Inman, Buhler, Haven, Nickerson, Galva, Little River, Chase, Arlington, Partridge, Alden, Windom, Abbyville, Raymond, Yoder and Willowbrook. |
