| Detailed Description | Above seasonal temperatures today are expected to continue tonight, and Wednesday. Where: North Thompson When: Tonight, and Wednesday. Remarks: A ridge of high pressure over the region will usher in unseasonably warm air from the south. As a result, the overnight low is expected to be in the low teens. The warm air will linger through tonight into Wednesday, causing daytime high temperatures to rise further into the low to mid 30s. Cooler air will arrive on Thursday resulting in temperatures lowering to near seasonal values. Monitor local public forecasts and weather alerts for updates. Access Environment and Climate Change Canada weather forecasts via the weathercan app or www.weather.gc.ca. Watch for the effects of Heat illness: Heavy sweating, rash, cramps, fainting. High body temperatures, and the worsening of some health conditions. Never leave people or pets inside a parked vehicle.
