Northeastern Douglas County in southwestern Missouri. Southeastern Wright County in southwestern Missouri. * Until midnight CDT tonight. * At 656 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD. Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE. Radar. IMPACT. Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include. Mountain Grove, Mountain View, Willow Springs, Cabool, Norwood, Elk Creek, Vanzant, Clear Springs, Arroll and Ozark National Scenic Riverways. This includes the following low water crossings. North Prong Jacks Fork at Arroll Road, Whetstone Creek at Owens Road, North Fork River at Highway EE, South Fork Jacks Fork River at Stillhouse Road, South Prong Jacks Fork River at Highway U, Eleven Point River at County Road 1550 and Gill Branch at Highway Y.
