Brief Description Flash Flood Warning
Detailed Description FFWOAX The National Weather Service in Omaha/Valley has issued a * Flash Flood Warning for. Central Lancaster County in southeastern Nebraska. * Until 545 AM CDT. * At 150 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. One to two inches of rain has fallen, primarily in north Lincoln so far. Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 3 inches across the remainder of the city the next hour. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD. Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE. Radar. IMPACT. Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include. Lincoln, Holmes Lake Park, Lincoln Airport, Pioneers Park and Walton. Avoid low water crossings and areas that typically flood.
