An extended period of hot and dry weather will continue. Time span: today through Tuesday. Maximum daytime temperatures: 29 to 33 degrees Celsius, except cooler along parts of the coast. Minimum overnight temperatures: 16 to 20 degrees Celsius. Locations: interior from Churchill Falls and vicinity to Eagle River, and along the coast from Postville-Makkovik to Lodge Bay. Remarks: A hot and dry air mass will settle over the region for the next few days. Little relief is expected at night with elevated overnight temperatures. Current guidance indicates conditions will begin moderating after Tuesday.
