Brief Description Severe Thunderstorm Watch
Detailed Description Conditions are favourable for the development of dangerous thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts and torrential rain. Potential hazards include: - Rainfall rates of 30 mm per hour or higher. - Wind gusts to 90 km/h or higher. - Up to dime-sized hail. Locations: western and northern New Brunswick. Time span: continuing early this morning. ### Utility outages are possible. Heavy rain can cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility. Severe thunderstorm watches are issued when conditions are favourable for the development of thunderstorms capable of producing damaging hail, wind or rain.
