Brief Description Flood Advisory
Detailed Description * WHAT. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE. A portion of east central Nebraska, including the following county, Polk. * WHEN. Until 1000 AM CDT. * IMPACTS. Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams. Water over county roads. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 730 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is already occurring in the advisory area. Between 2 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen. - This includes the following streams and drainages. Lincoln Creek, Clear Creek, North Branch Big Blue River, and Big Blue River. Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include. Shelby.
