| Detailed Description |
* WHAT. Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE. Portions of south central Arkansas, including the following county, northwestern central Union and north central Louisiana, including the following parish, northwestern central Union. * WHEN. Until 715 PM CDT. * IMPACTS. Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Overflowing poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 408 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include. El Dorado, Norphlet, Junction City, Strong, Calion, Urbana, Lawson, Spearsville, Lillie, Hillsboro, Lockhart, Aurelle, Catesville, Taylorville, New London, Oakland, Pigeon Hill and Kenova. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood |
