Detailed Description The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Virginia. Blackwater River near Dendron affecting Surry County. * WHAT. Minor flooding is occurring. * WHERE. Blackwater River near Dendron. * WHEN. Until further notice. * IMPACTS. At 36.3 feet, Jones Town Drive and Walls Bridge Road begin to flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 7:45 PM EDT Friday the stage was 36.7 feet. - Bankfull stage is 35.3 feet. - Recent Activity. The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 7:45 PM EDT Friday was 36.7 feet. - Forecast. The river will continue to slowly rise tonight before cresting Saturday. - Flood stage is 36.3 feet. - Flood History.
