Brief Description Flood Warning
Detailed Description The National Weather Service in Wichita KS has issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Kansas. Neosho River near Parsons affecting Neosho and Labette Counties. * WHAT. Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Neosho River near Parsons. * WHEN. From Monday afternoon to late Tuesday evening. * IMPACTS. At 21.0 feet, Significant flooding of the flood plain begins to occur affecting agricultural fields. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 8:30 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 14.8 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise above flood stage tomorrow afternoon to a crest of 21.6 feet early Tuesday morning. It will then fall below flood stage late Tuesday morning. - Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
