Brief Description Flood Advisory
Detailed Description * WHAT. Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE. A portion of south central Texas, including the following county, Val Verde. * WHEN. Until 1230 AM CDT. * IMPACTS. Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Overflowing poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 1016 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include. Del Rio, Lake View, Long Point, Black Brush Point, Cienegas Terrace, Val Verde Park, Diablo East, Amistad Village, Governors Landing, Laughlin AFB, Lake Ridge Ranch, 277 South Boat Ramp, San Pedro Canyon, 277 North Campground, Rough Canyon Recreation Area, Rock Quarry Campground, Spur 406 Campground, Devils Shores and Escondido Estates. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
