Brief Description WIND WARNING
Detailed Description 5:11 AM PDT Sunday 24 September 2023 Wind Warning in effect for: West Vancouver Island Significant fall storm will arrive tonight. Where: West Vancouver Island. When: tonight. Remarks: A strong frontal system will arrive tonight bringing rain and strong winds. Winds will rise to southeast 80 km/h gusting 100 over the exposed coastal sections of West Vancouver Island this evening. Winds will ease early Monday to southeasterly 60 km/h gusting to 80 and remain through Monday evening. Loose objects may be tossed by the wind and cause injury or damage. High winds may result in power outages and fallen tree branches. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
