| Detailed Description |
4:50 AM PST Monday 4 December 2023 Special Weather Statement in effect for: Metro Vancouver - southeast including Surrey and Langley Metro Vancouver - southwest including Richmond and Delta Metro Vancouver - central including the City of Vancouver Burnaby and New Westminster Elevated ocean water levels are expected, exceeding high astronomical tide. Locations: Areas of Metro Vancouver near the water, the southern Gulf Islands, and the Saanich Peninsula. When: Around high tide today. Remarks: Low barometric pressure will combine with a period of high astronomical tide to produce elevated water levels today. Minor coastal flooding is possible along exposed shorelines.
